Embossing fun with flowers

I wanted to make a fairly clean looking card with my Vintage Vogue set and a fun technique.

I've shown this technique on my blog not too long ago, but here it is again with a flower this time.

I stamped the image on glossy paper and embossed with white. I used a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol and reinkers and blotted it all over the image. Then when you heat it again, the image reappears.

I used some textured pink pirouette paper which is a retired In Color, but is coming back!!! (along with a bunch of other great new colors!)

There's some flower vines stamped behind the main element.

Thanks for looking at my card today. Happy stamping!

What a neat technique with the alcohol and gossy paper/reinkers, I will have to try this!

Awesome medallion - I love the colours behind the flower.

You commented on one of my cards on Splitcoast and I noticed you're from Alberta - I'm in Fort Saskatchewan.

Have a great weekend - it's snowing here at the moment - gotta love Alberta! LOL
