I made two cards for our Queen this week. You can find the Queen for the Day challenges here. Anyone is welcome to come play along.
This card uses Vellum, Four Frames and a silver stamped rose.
On this card I also used two of the techniques from this week at Splitcoast - a Clean and Simple card with cut up sentiment. And cutting around the frame. What fun techniques and they worked great for making a card for Clownmom.

Four Frames - Vellum
I wanted to create another card using my Four Frames set. I thought it would be fun to stamp it on vellum. I punched out with decorative label, modern label and dotten ribbon border punches. All the images (flower, frame and thank you) are all embossed in black!
This card qualifies for Stampin' Royalty's HEAT EMBOSSING challenge!

Misty Celery Breezes
This card is for the color challenge - Marina Mist, Certainly Celery and Baja Breeze. I confess, I used to HATE blue and green together, but over the past while have really grown to like them together! Figure that out?!
I stamped my flower image on vellum and embossed with white. I then colored with marker using the 3 colors.
I used my new Four Frames set - I used marker and just used the frame. I embossed the white sentiment inside (using Stamp-A-Ma-Jig!) I then colored the bird and stamped on baja - then cut out and popped up top!
I also embossed the circle and used the ribbon trim punch, brads to secure the vellum and a little white bow to top it off!
If you can believe it I made up this layout as I went! No sketch challenge. WHEW! That was a challenge!

Queen for the Day - QFTD53
I'm SO excited. I am now the leader of a challenge on Splitcoast called "Queen for the Day". You can check out the challenge here. Anyone is welcome to join in and play along, even if you don't know "Queen Karen".
Here are the two cards I made for Karen.
For this card I was inspired by Karen's card here.
I paper pieced Awash with Flowers. I also used French Filigree and Something to Celebrate!
For this card I was inspired by Karen's card here.
I used Uncharted Territories. I kept this one really clean and simple. The sun is just a punched circle and I cut out around the lighthouse.

Just a Note
Just a simple note card. I used my new stamp "Three Leaves" and separated the image from the sentiment using markers. The sentiment is punched out with word window.
The layout is from Clean & Simple - Fall-to-Layout 132.
The colors are from Diva Coffee Break Designs - certainly celery, pretty in pink, perfect plum.
I used some linen thread, a button and some piercing!

Baby blossoms for baby
This card is for 2 challenges. Today's Clean & Simple challenge on Splitcoast was a sketch! I tried to keep down the layers. Although stamping and cutting out those flowers is NOT a simple task!
The colors are from my favorite color challenge - ColorLab - Marina Mist, Regal Rose, Pear Pizzazz!
The patterned paper is Elegant Soiree and the sentiment is from Occasional Quotes (hostess set). The flowers are 2 step stamps (meaning you stamp one image, then another overtop in a different color). I cut out the flowers and popped them up. I also added piercing in each of the corners.

Two CAS circle cards
Today's Clean & Simple Challenge on Splitcoast was "out of the box" technique. I got to be the Guest Designer this week and I had lots of fun with this!
I stamped the snowboarder and embossed with black. I traced a circle on the back of it and cut around the circle and around the parts that "stuck out" of the circle. I used a baja breeze circle to layer behind it just a little bit and then a larger Elegant Eggplant circle.
I created the "snow" with French Filigree background. 3 brads finished it off.
Another card with "out of the circle"! I stamped and embossed this image in white. I cut around the circle and around the top of the flower. I cut out the green and paper pieced it on top.
I put two strips of scallop trim punch white on a white base. Used some elegant black satin ribbon and a few buttons. This set is "Because I Care" (hostess set)

Cute Skunk friend
Here's a really cute card I made for my Marker Club today. We used the markers to only color in the areas we wanted and OMIT other parts of the stamp. It sure makes your stamps a lot more versatile and useful!!!!
The stamps used here are Pun Fun and Oval All! This is also my first time using my new paper daisies! I stamped on the daisy with a subtle pattern so it wouldn't be so white and it would match the patterned paper.
A row of piercing finishes off this card!

Color Dare with markers
This card is made with the colors from Color Dare this week - Basic Gray, Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler. What a great combination! I love how it looks together.
I used my new punch to cut out the shape. I stamped the image with Staz On and colored it with markers. The image is from the set "A Flower for all Seasons" (it's available as a FREE choice during Sale-a-bration!)
I textured my papers, added ribbon and two brads. Very simple card, but I really love it!

2 CAS silhouette cards
I made these two clean and simple cards for the challenge to make a CAS card using silhouettes. I love how both of them turned out!
I embossed the wolf and used a circle mask to sponge color on. The sentiment has variation of orange, red and black (which is hard to tell from the photo). I punched it with an oval and popped it up.
The tree on this is embossed. I added some cheerful buttons. The sentiment is popped up. I used crimping and piercing.

Baja polka dot cupcake
What a perfect color combination I found at Pals Paper Arts! Baja Breeze, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake. Why that's exactly the colors in the Elegant Soiree designer series paper!
That patterned paper even had some polka dots on it, so I thought I'd give the Ways to Use it Challenge on Splitcoast a try. There was a fun suggestion on there to cut out circles to create your own polka dots. I punched out circles and embossed with dots and glued them to the same color paper. I really like the effect. I think I'll be trying that again!
The layout is from Diva Coffee Break Designs.
I got to use my BRAND NEW label punch that I received TODAY! That sure got me motivated to make something!
I thought I'd do a cupcake card today and I used a matching sentiment from the hostess set "Something to Celebrate". I wrapped a bit of ribbon around the label which I think looks really cute.

ColorLab bird with scallops
This card was made for 2 of my favorite challenges. The colors are from ColorLab #30
(Hey look at that - I just uploaded the challenge photo! There's a first time for everything!)
The other challenge is from Pals Paper Arts. To make a CLEAN & SIMPLE card with SCALLOPS!
I knew the wild wasabi (green) would make wonderful leaves so that's how I chose to go with the bird punch. I kept it clean and simple and just added 2 rows of scallops and a sentiment and some piercing!
The sentiment is from the hostess set "Something to Celebrate"
