Snowman with ornament

I made this snowman from 3 circles, a tiny piece from the inside of the triple blossom punch (for the nose) and the bird punch for the arms.  I also used a small piece of ribbon for the scarf.  I even cut the ends of it (which you can't see in the picture).  I popped up each of the circles with a dimensional.

I also used Top Note die, ornament punch (saying from Word Play), white twine, photo corner punch, patterned paper and embossing.  I drew in the eyes and mouth of the snowman with markers.

This is for the challenge at The Paper Players and also the Splitcoast challenge to make a snowman.

Ornament - Negative

I made this by punching the ornament out of the white piece and putting a piece of embossed blue behind.  You can't really see in the picture very well but it says "Merry Christmas" in between two rhnestones.  I also scored all the way around the card base before gluing the other elements on top.

The layout is from Clean & Simple.
The colors are from Fab Friday - Midnight Muse, Island Indigo, Summer Starfruit.

3D card and ornament

Here's the card we're making on Monday for my Stampin' Up! technique club.

The card is an easel card.
The main background is crumb cake with crumb cake ink on the embossing folder.
The ornament is punched 3 times from Elegant Soiree designer paper, then folded in the middle and attached to each other.

The wheeled image is gold embossed on the base. I also used red marker to highlight just one saying from the wheel, then punched it out.

I really love this color combination - Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede!
