I made some of these for my friend who had a baby shower last night. I decided I would also make some for my kids. I'll share the ones I made for my kids.
I made these with the My Digital Studio Program. I love that program. I am starting to use it for more and more things. I make it as a page, export it as a jpeg and then print it out like you would print out a picture (I go to a store to get them printed, not my own printer).

New Queen... QFTD97
Come play along with the Queen for the Day Challenge on Splitcoast.
Here are my two cards for this week's Queen (ravengirl).
For this card I used this week's layout on Splitcoast. The flowers is made with the scallop circle punch and cutting slits in it. Then I put boho blossoms overtop.
In this picture you can see Queen ravengirl's card in the background. I changed around the colors a bit.

twine edging
The technique challenge today was to use TWINE in a different way! I pierced the holes around my frame and then threaded the twine through with a needle.
I also added a little twine bow to the sentiment.
For the frame I used my scallop square to punch a hole and also rounded the corners. It is popped up over the owl (with sponging) on the island indigo paper.
I decided to do an embossed background only half way.
I think this card will end up going to my husband or one of my kids!
The owl image and sentiment are from a retired SU set "goody-goody gumdrops"

Wonderful butterflies
I made today's card by combining two challenges.
The Technique Lover's Challenge was to choose a technique from last year. The Technique I used was Color Blocking with a Twist. I sprayed my clear acrylic block with water and then swiped my markers across it (I used pinks and purples). Then I stamped it onto the white paper and it gives this really cool effect. I was originally going to put a larger butterfly on it, but it blocked too much of the beautiful background. So I chose to use tiny white butterflies and I put a little rhinestone on each so they are a bit easier to see.
The other challenge was the Clean & Simple Challenge to use die cuts. My die cut is the "beautiful wings embosslit".
I embossed the wisteria wonder (light purple) background and added brads to the corners. I also used my new wisteria wonder twine. The sentiment is from "fabulous phrases" and I popped it up.
