New Queen.. QFTD123

Here are the two cards I made for this week's Queen...
Come play along with the Queen for the Day Challenge that I host on Splitcoast.

For this card I used the images from "Easy Events" and two of the Apothecary Accents framelit shapes.  I scored the background.  Added some fun edges, ribbon and mini brads.  I colored some of the image in just with yellow.

For this card I used "Serene Silhouettes" and a framelit shape and beautiful wings embosslit butterflies.  I also used the vintage wallpaper embossing folder and textured paper.  I pierced holes and connected the dots with a purple marker on the top and bottom edge to make it look like stitching!  The ribbon is organza ribbon.

New Queen.. QFTD122

Here are the 2 cards I made for this week's Queen for the Day.
Please come join in with the Queen for the Day Challenge.
I inked my clear block with yellow maker and pressed it onto the white paper.  Then I stamped and added brads.  Really simple card, took about a minute or two to make.

For this card I used my new set "Evergreen".  I stamped the tree with white ink on the green paper, then I inked the words with green and stamped overtop.  I added some fun decorative accents and embellishments.

Summer Afternoon - Made for You

I made this card for two challenges.
The color challenge at Splitcoast - Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler and the new Gumball Green.
I challenged myself NOT to make a Christmas card with these colors.

The layout is from Techno Stamper.

Trees Thank You

I made this card using the new set "Evergreen".  The colors are kraft (crumb cake) and island indigo.  I also used some soft suede ink.  I stamped the tree 3 times and then stamped the outline tree image once overtop the darkest tree.  I used 2 edgelits.

The clean and simple challenge today was to use twine.  I used my Indigo Baker's Twine.  Yeah for matching!

This card could be used for Christmas or any other occasion.  I chose to make a thank you card, and the colors are great for guy.

New Queen... QFTD121

I made these two cards for this week's Queen.
Please come play along with the Queen for the Day Challenge.

I used "I Dig You" and "Evergreen" and "Something to Celebrate".
I made the tree smaller by just inking part of it.  I stamped on green paper and then cut it out.
I used the cupcake punch to make the clouds.

I used this week's fabulous colors.  Crumb Cake, Raspberry and Pink Pirouette.  I still love this tree stamp and this sentiment stamp.

First Trees

So excited about this new set "Evergreen".  I think it will be SOOOO versatile!
For this first card I used the new Gumball Green and a new framelit.  I rounded the corners and added ribbon and glitter and piercing.

This card my mom made with this set.  She was also using her new colors!  These colors are Lucky Limeade, Island Indigo and Summer Starfruit.  She cut the window out of the blue with the framelit shape and the tree is behind.  Great card mom!  And it shows off this set in a great way.

Sunburst car

I made this card for my husband for our Anniversary (9 years!)
I found the challenge to make a "sunburst".  What a neat idea.  I inked my embossing folders and just cut the blue into strips.

The colors are from Stampin' Royalty - Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight and Baja Breeze.

I photographed his card with the flowers he gave me - they even match!!

I think this card would be great for many occasions and I think he'll like it.  It's manly, and he likes embossing and there are no "frills".  Even the colors I think are manly enough.
