Watercolor embossing - Roses for Mother

I made this card for 2 challenges.

Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge to watercolor.  I used my roses embossing folder on watercolor paper, then watercolored using aqua painter and watercolor wonder crayons.

The layout is from Stamping 411.

The sentiment is punched out with a circle punch, then layered on the decorative label punch.
I added some rhinestones and ribbon on the corners.

I never thought to try watercoloring directly onto the paper after using an embossing folder. Great technique and beautiful colors, aren't those crayons WONDERFUL?! :) Thanks for sharing this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments!

Great idea to color on the embossed rose. So pretty! I also love your color combination and I'll have to CASE how you layered sentiment. Thanks so much for playing at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
