Z-fold guy card

Here's a great masculine card (my husband even thinks so!)

The card is a Z-fold. Very simple. It's just a card folded in half - like normal - then fold the front in half again. The main piece (any shape) is added so it hangs over.

The image is Motorcycle from Stampin' Up! and is a great manly image. I knew right away when I saw it in the mini that I wanted it!

For the fun metal look I used a piece of aluminum foil and wrapped it tightly around a piece of carstock then put it through my Big Shot with texturz embossing!

I used the medallion stamp set as a background, stamped in black ink. I wiped silver ink directly onto the edges to give it a bit of a distressed look.

I'm really happy with how it turned out! I think the foil really MAKES the card!

On the inside of the card I used stars and "celebrate today" sentiment from Starring You, which could be appropriate for many occasions and works well for a guy card.

It sure is a great card! Thanks for the aluminum foil tip. I had no idea how it was done but now I do.

WOW Trish! This is super. I have GOT to try the foil trick now. That really makes it "pop".
