Starring You Birthday


Here's a birthday card I made today for 2 challenges.
The new Free For All Challenge on Splitcoast - to use texture, one color we don't like/often use, and a patterned paper. I texturz embossed the circles and did some piercing. The color I don't like is Crushed Curry and I used a bit of paper from Tall Tales. I also used a star brad.

The second challenge was from Just Add Ink - a sketch challenge. I changed the sketch to circles and made them overlap because of how big they were. I also added the circle/brad in the corner which wasn't part of the sketch.

I even decorated the inside!!! Bonus points for me!

Ooh .... I doo love this card .... just perfect for the males in our lives... love the colour combination and the embossed circles .... they look terrific and add that extra element. Well done!!!

I like your card very much. I love the colours you used and how you overlapped the cirles and finished it off with paper piercing. It adds depth to the card and brings out the colour of the stripes.

Hi Trish - I love your card... suca a perfect card for a male, which I often fidn very difficult to do. Love the colour combo and the use of the embossing on the circles, very effective!!!
